Ak’Tenamit School in Guatemala
The club supports the Ak’Tenamit school in Guatemala, which provides rural-appropriate, hands-on education with the goal of helping students find employment and live a better life.
The Rotary Club of Cocoa Beach raised funds to help construct a new dormitory, and club members spend a week every February, since 2022, in Guatemala building furniture, painting murals, and teaching the students CPR. Trips are planned for next year, please reach out if you are interested in attending.

Ukraine Humanitarian Support
Another day of travel begins with howling alarms all over Ukraine. The news is so devastating…” –Zupa na Monciaku
The club has worked with Rotary District 6930 to secure three $25,000 Rotary International grants for Ukraine humanitarian aid. These funds were used to purchase food, hospital supplies, and other essential items to help the civilian population recover from Russian attacks and to survive the winter.
Our partner in Poland – Zupa na Monciaku – risked their lives to deliver this essential humanitarian aid deep within the conflict zone.
