Hi Everybody. Hope you’ve had a great week. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to attend the meeting last week (needed four new tires desperately) so I can’t report on the meeting directly.
However, Ellen took some great notes and sent them to me. This will get everybody caught up.
Btw, one thing about this blog is it could be a great way to get SEO backlinks to your business website. We’ll figure out how we can do that soon. Enjoy the highlights!

1. Fat Donkey wants to make a donation using Zell. John H is getting us set up with a debit card so we can start doing Zell transactions
2. Oasis shave ice will host an event to benefit Polio Plus on Wednesday, October 2 from 6-8 PM. Come and enjoy a sweet treat with your favorite people.
Facebook- Kyle reported that the old FB page is unlikely to be recovered, and we discussed the merits of a new FB page vs. a FB group
Interact- Kimberly reported that we have a new Faculty Sponsor at the school. The first meetings will be starting soon with plans for an ice cream social to welcome new students.
Boat Parade- Cocoa Beach has approved our permit. The theme this year will be “Santa in Paradise” and the Digital Arts teacher is having a contest for her students to see who can come up with the best logo art, which we will use on Boat Parade merchandise for prizes. Boat parade committee will meet again soon- contact Kyle or Ellen if you are interested.
Drown Zero- A rescue was made in Cape Canaveral last week. Wyatt is busy trying to grow the program in other areas. We still have some stations in Cocoa Beach and Cape Canaveral that need to be adopted.
